To fill the Black ink tank, I flipped open the cover of all the ink tanks and then flipped open the blue cap on the Black ink tank. ET-8550 users who will print more at 11″x14″ or 13″x19″ will obviously need to replace inks earlier than users of the ET-8500. We will see how it goes, all i know is simple is usually good and while not a fine art printer it goes pretty far in in that direction for getting a decent photograph into ones hands to enjoy.

The Epson Print Layout app is another app you can download, but it is only available for Windows, Mac, and iOS devices. All that said, the ET-8500 will give you excellent prints, that, when preserved with simple storage techniques, can last decades.
